We are here to build the next generation of coffee connoisseurs around the world

SPECIALTY COFFEE IS A RAPIDLY GROWING INDUSTRY
In the last year alone, the coffee industry netted a whopping 50 billion dollars in the US, and those numbers continue to increase. It is considered the second most sought after resource in the entire world and about 500 billion cups of coffee are consumed every year.

COFFEE HAS A HIGH MARGIN OF PROFITABILITY
Independent Coffee shops are at an increasing profit margin of 20% per year. Coffee has a profit margin that is 3 times greater than the investment, and its demand continues to rise.

60% OF COFFEE SHOPS CLOSE AFTER THEIR FIRST YEAR
Although the industry is highly profitable and quickly growing, the gap between consumer and craft has continued to widen. There are limited programs built to help individuals in their coffee pursuits, leading many to waste precious resources without guidance.
WE WANT TO SEE YOU SUCCEED
Ferocity was created to build the next wave of coffee culture by removing any barriers in the way of your success. That includes education, program development, loan provision and guidance through every step of the process. We’re here to provide you all of the tools to feel strong and confident in your coffee journey.

Our dream is to see a coffee culture  that includes everyone. We want to see people from every background, gender identity and culture be given the tools to be financially successful in a booming industry. We want to inspire a new generation that brings the Ferocity to specialty coffee by making it their own.

The Founder

Violet Maldonado has been part of the coffee industry for the last 7 years. She has done everything from being a dishwasher to managing operations at a coffee shop. She had to struggle to find a way into the industry and went through many hoops before being given a chance to work as a barista. She has taken it upon herself to change that, and create accessibility for everyone to be part of the craft they love. She believes the most important thing about coffee is the connection it creates for people, and the conversations it inspires, and that is something that should be available to everyone.
